On November 25/26, Duelists from all over Europe will make their way to Prague (Czech Republic) as KONAMI Digital Entertainment B.V. plays host to their latest Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series (YCS) event. Europe’s strongest Duelists will compete at the PVA EXPO where only one will become champion. Players will compete in multiple rounds of high-level play over two days, against some of the strongest opponents around.

This is the second Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series event to be held in Prague this year. Players and event attendees were impressed with what the Czech capital had to offer in March and due to their feedback KONAMI decided to host another YCS event in the city in 2017. Outside of the tournament environment, visitors to Prague can expect to enjoy themselves in this vibrant and exciting city.

In addition to claiming the title of YCS winner, the weekend’s champion will take home a prize package that includes a PlayStation 4 Pro, exclusive YCS Prize Card and paid travel & accommodation to the 2018 WCQ: European Championship. Duelists that finish high in the overall standings will also earn themselves some highly sought-after prizes, including additional PlayStation 4 consoles and copies of the Yu-Gi-Oh!: Legacy of the Duelistvideogame.

For those who do not participate in the main tournament there will be several other events to take part in throughout the weekend, with opportunities to win Game Mats, giant Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards and other popular prizes, such as additional copies of the YCS Prize Card Number 89: Diablosis the Mind Hacker. Unlike most Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME cards, Number 89: Diablosis the Mind Hacker can only be obtained by winning highly-competitive events, making it one of the rarest and most highly-desired cards in the game.

As with all international-level tournaments held in Europe, Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Prague will feature live and comprehensive reporting so that Dueling fans around the world can follow their favourite players and cheer them on. Over 20 hours of live gameplay, commentary and analysis will be broadcasted on the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG’s official Twitch, Facebook and YouTube channels, with additional articles and updates shared via Facebook and the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Coverage Blog.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Prague is also the final event in the 2017 Ordeal of a Traveler programme, which rewards loyal YCS attendees for their attendance with exclusive promotional items. Duelists who attended every European YCS event will take home a specially-designed Game Mat, with those who missed out on only 1 YCS event throughout the year earning a smaller-scale mouse mat of the same design.

The artwork featured on this prize is of a card from the Spirit Warriors booster set, available in stores now. Link Monsters, the Extra Monster Zones, and strategic card placement are key elements in the Decks that can be built from the cards in this set. Spirit Warriors also welcomes back a long-time favourite theme (the Six Samurai) in addition to introducing 2 brand-new Deck themes.
