A New Standalone Adventure for Arkham Horror LCG.

With the conclusion of the The Circle Undone cycle coming soon, Fantasy Flight Games has announced a new standalone adventure for Arkham Horror LCG. Following in the footsteps of previous standalone adventures such as "Curse of the Rougarou" and the popular double adventure "Guardians of the Abyss," "Murder at the Excelsior Hotel will offer players a chance to play a new story either by itself or as a part of their ongoing campaigns.

Unusual happenstances have been occurring at the prestigious Excelsior Hotel, things that can't be explained by logical thought. The local authorities have seemingly ignored the strangeness and so, when a note promising answers falls into the hands of the intrepid investigators, they find themselves drawn deeper into the mystery surrounding the hotel. However, things soon take a turn for the worse and the investigators find themselves at a murder scene with no memory of what happened - are they the murderer or is something truly sinister afoot in Arkham?

Designed by Matt Newman and Nicholas Kory of the Mythos Busters podcast, Murder at the Excelsior Hotel introduces new mechanics to draw players into the investigation and make every action and decision count in this adventure. Players must make careful use of time to both try to uncover the truth behind the crime and keep themselves from being accused of the murder, misleading others in the hotel to protect themselves as the clock ticks ever closer to the discovery of the truth.

Murder at the Excelisor Hotel is set for release in the third quarter of 2019.
