Through Three Monthly Releases

For the first time, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will become a part of Upper Deck’s Vs System when the company releases a series of three monthly sets, beginning in May, to help celebrate ten years of Marvel Studios.

The core of this three-set “Earth 199999 Arc” will be The MCU Battles Vs. System 2 PCG.  The cards in this set will all feature still images taken from the MCU series of movies, including the most recent Black Panther film.

This will be a “Giant-Sized Issue” for the game, intended as a stepping-on point for new players or players looking to get into a new universe within the game.  The set will include 200 all-new Vs System cards, along with all of the tokens and basic locations needed to play, as well as a full rulebook for the game.  The MSRP is $30.00.

The MCU Battles will be followed by two smaller 55-card monthly “Issue” expansions, one each in June and July.  Both expansions will have an MSRP of $15.00 each.

The MCU, along with World War Hulk, is also appearing in the Marvel:  Legendary Deck Building Game (see “‘Legendary’ Heats Up With ‘World War Hulk’”).
